Psychologist role

Unique U is always interested in hearing from other psychologists and counsellors who share our vision to provide neuroaffirming therapy for our neurodivergent clients.  If you are passionate about supporting Autistic clients in a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed way, want to be part of an inclusive and welcoming  workplace, and would like to develop your expertise working with the internalised presentation of Autism at a well-regarded practice, then please get in touch! 

At Unique U we provide diagnostic assessment and therapy for individuals who present with the internalised (masking) profile of Autism. We embrace the strengths that come with being autistic and/or an ADHD’er and celebrate neurodivergence with our clients, while also providing structured support in areas of concern, such as developing emotion regulation skills, self-awareness and identity, and support with socialising.

We are looking for a warm, friendly, and highly motivated Clinical Psychologist or Psychologist who understands and appreciates neurodivergence. The available salaried position is for 3-5 days a week with flexible work day options and individual and group supervision provided.  We are open Mondays-Saturdays.

Provisional Psychologists will be considered for the role.

The successful applicant will be provided with:

  • Training on the internalised (female) presentation of autism, including diagnostic assessment
  • Regular scheduled individual, group, and peer supervision
  • Client work that includes individual therapy, assessment, and group therapy
  • The option for flexible work hours
  • Full administrative support from reception
  • The opportunity to work collaboratively with friendly, passionate and like-minded professionals
