ENACT
The Randomised controlled trial, ENACT, is led by researchers at the University of Queensland. The CAPTeam at La Trobe University has recently joined the ENACT study team, and we are now offering Melbourne families the chance to be part of this very early intervention trial. ENACT stands for Environmental enrichment for infants; parenting with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We are welcoming new families up until March 2024.
To be eligible for ENACT:
Participating families will be randomly allocated to either the ENACT Intervention group or the Care as Usual group. The intervention is delivered as an online module. All participating families will complete online questionnaires, as well as attend face to face assessments at La Trobe University when baby is 6 and 12 months of age. Following the 12 month assessment, families will receive a free report from a developmental paediatrician.
