Sarah Vanis is a 4th-Year Honours student enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychological Science at Federation University under the supervision of Dr Simon Scalzo. Sarah is interested in increasing the understanding of the factors that can contribute to autistic burnout in women diagnosed with Autism.
Participants need to identify as female and be aged over the age of 18 years. Participation will be via an online questionnaire, expected to take around 30 minutes to complete. All participants have the option to enter a draw to win a $25 Coles Voucher and may choose to receive the results of the study via email.

ENACT
The Randomised controlled trial, ENACT, is led by researchers at the University of Queensland. The CAPTeam at La Trobe University has recently joined the ENACT study team, and we are now offering Melbourne families the chance to be part of this very early intervention trial. ENACT stands for Environmental enrichment for infants; parenting with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We are welcoming new families up until March 2024.
To be eligible for ENACT:
Participating families will be randomly allocated to either the ENACT Intervention group or the Care as Usual group. The intervention is delivered as an online module. All participating families will complete online questionnaires, as well as attend face to face assessments at La Trobe University when baby is 6 and 12 months of age. Following the 12 month assessment, families will receive a free report from a developmental paediatrician.
